    Thinkadam is primarily a secure locking/unlocking software solution. However, it offers a range of additional essential features tailored to support our customers in the smartphone-on-credit industry, including: Device Lock/Unlock Feature: Our firmware empowers users to remotely lock and unlock ALL compatible Android 7 and above devices, providing a real-time locking and unlocking solution. App Embedding with Thinkadam Firmware: Customers and partners have the flexibility to embed their own or third-party apps onto devices using Thinkadam technology, with the option to include or exclude an uninstall feature. Push Messaging: Our system empowers users to send messages to individual customers or groups through the demo dashboard, facilitating improved communication and engagement. You can attach various file types such as PDFs, links, payslips, emojis, and more, just like you would with an email or standard messaging service. Unlock a device with no connectivity: With Thinkadam you are able to use an SMS to instantly lock or unlock your customers' devices, specifically for those customers who are not connected to the internet at that time. Factory Reset Over the Air: Thinkadam facilitates secure factory resets over the air, safeguarding sensitive data. When a contract concludes, we offer the capability to remove Thinkadam from a device without compromising the customer's valuable data or information. Manage network locking devices (coming soon): Our network locking firmware is designed for the exclusive use of MNOs and OEMs. It works by utilising the MNO's MCC and MNC codes and prompts users to return or replace the network SIM card in one of the SIM slots through a lock screen message.

    Thinkadam works with ALL smartphones running Android 7 and above. Compatibility was tested on over 1,489 models. Thinkadam is not compatible with iPhones.
  • How do I install Thinkadam?
    We recommend using the QR code method. You can find this unique QR code on your organisation's Thinkadam dashboard and can also print it out. Access the dashboard, generate the QR code, and follow the simple installation steps.
  • Can I enrol Thinkadam on devices in a retail store?
    Yes, Thinkadam can be installed/enrolled at your preferred location, making it flexible for your retail needs.
  • How long does enrolling Thinkadam on a device take?
    Enrolment typically takes 2 to 5 minutes, depending on factors like Wi-Fi connectivity and device specifications.
  • Can you install Thinkadam over the air (OTA) or without the need to unbox the device?
    No, Thinkadam requires unboxing for installation. We do not support OTA installation.
  • What information does the Thinkadam dashboard provide for each device?
    The dashboard offers crucial device details, including but not limited to, the serial number, the IMEI number, manufacturer and model details. This information is populated upon enrolment.
  • How long does it take to unlock a device after payment was made?
    Device unlocking typically takes seconds to minutes with an active internet connection. SMS feature available for instant lock/unlock when customers do not have connectivity.
